I don’t know how many of you are baseball fans, but there’s a new “tarps off” craze sweeping MLB this year where fans remove their shirts and wave them over their heads to show their team support and as a rally cry.

In our world, we are rallying one of our junior members, Brodie, as he gets closer to the finish line with his beautiful 64 Monza convertible. You may recognize Brodie’s car as it greets you when you visit the front page of the SFBA website. He found this one owner car in Salinas and has been working hard with his dad to get it just right. Fresh paint and smooth body courtesy of SFBA member Gabe Lopez at Sterling Restorations.

In this photo, the car is actually going to go “tarps on!” as it is on it’s way to get a new convertible top. With its beige paint and saddle interior, we are curious to see what color and style tarp the car returns with.

Keep up the great work Brodie! You’re almost there!
