It seems that specialty Corvairs come up for sale in waves. It will be months and months before someone reaches out to sell a wagon, then you get 3 in a bunch. Same with vans, Rampsides… even Spyders.
We are on a Rampside wave right now. Over the weekend, we had 3 members and owners reach out ask us to share these Rampsides that are for sale. If you’ve been in the market for a Rampside, now might be the time to strike!

1963 Rampside in Oakley
For sale original 1963 Corvair Rampside owned by one family. My grandfather bought the Corvair new and then did a complete restoration in 1990. The carburetors were rebuilt in 2016. We just placed new rims and tires and will include the original steel wheels with the sale. Also, included is the original radio face plate and owner’s manuals. New Rebuilt motor 110 bore .30 over . Professionally rebuilt by Mel’s Vair Mart in Santa Clara . Petronix points and flamethrower one ignition coil. Electric fuel pump very quiet. 1963 Rampside in Palm Springs
$2500 firm. Cash only. Buyer arranges transport: shipping company, flatbed or tow. Needs to move.
Not currently running — possible carb issue (has spark). Was driving fine before it sat. Powerglide auto, front disc/rear drum. Ramp/tailgate work. Original trim, glass, bench seat all intact. Trans only drives in low gear, surface rust throughout.
Recent work: Oil change, oil pan gasket, carb gaskets, plugs/wires, distributor cap, voltage regulator, fan belt, directional switch, steering wheel repair, new fuel pump. ~SC *This was sent to us from a subscriber in Palm Springs who saw the truck in person.
