SFBA Work Party Sat May 2nd

This Saturday, May 2nd, is our next SFBA work party at Don’s in Antioch to continue progress on the club’s ’66 Corsa. Mainly focusing on buttoning up the interior this time. Once the interior is up to snuff, we will give the engine and brakes a good once over, make sure all of the electrical is working as it should and then this beauty will be going up for sale.

For those who may be new members or subscribers, this 1966 Corsa 140 was purchased new and owned by longtime SFBA members Phil & Sandy Dalforno. When Phil passed, he requested that his beloved Corsa be donated to the club. We thank the Dalforno for decades of friendship and for this wonderful gift. The Corsa is a low number LA built 140. Purchased brand new in San Luis Obispo, it has spent its entire life garaged, so the body is in fantastic condition. Original color was Madeira Maroon but currently wears more of a fire engine red color. Black interior. Dealer option sport wheel, trombone exhaust and a center-mount Holley carburetor.

If you’ve been to Don’s, the work starts at 10am and usually goes until about 2pm. If you haven’t been to Don’s and want directions to his place, drop an email and we will get those to you.
