What would you like to see more from with the club? In the emails? In the Spyder Web newsletter? Anywhere else?
We want you to get the most out of your Corvair experience and will do our part to share important and time sensitive topics with you.
Recently, we have kicked off our private SFBA forum on the Corvair Center Forum. This is a great place to discuss local topics with locals. The reason for chosing the CCF is multi-faceted. A lot of people are down on Social Media. With the barrage of ads, rage bait, bots and data harvesting, we wanted to offer an alternative. The SFBA forum is a private and safe place to ask your Corvair questions, buy and sell parts, plan a cruise or meetup… whatever you like. We encourage you to join and participate if you haven’t already.
The club calendar is active. If you are hosting/attending/know of an event that will have Corvairs there, please let us know and we will add it to the calendar.
Stories. We share what we can, but love to hear YOUR Corvair stories. If you want to share, drop us a line. Don’t be shy. We’re all friends here!
Tech. Same applies as above. If you have a tech topic that you want to share with us, let us know. If you have a tech question, also let us know. Maybe others have the same question and we can share to help everyone. Big thanks to Scott Lyon for his videos sharing repairs and mods he’s made to his 67 Monza. Keep ’em coming!
In person meetups. We are often asked about this, but it really depends on the person asking. This is to say, if you want to host an in person event, put it together and we’ll share it. It could be something as simple as gathering with your Corvairs at a local diner, coffee shop or empty parking lot. We have members all over, so no matter where you are (Carl Kelsen exception), there is probably a Corvair owner or two nearby who would come out to meet.
Anything else we’ve missed? It’s a lot of fun to find topics of interest and share with members and subscribers. Sometimes, these posts get picked up by other Corsa chapters and it’s a thrill to see them in their respective newsletters. Sometimes, we return the favor and lift things (always cited, naturally) from their newsletters to share with you.
So let’s hear from you! Let us know if there is anything we can do to make the club better. We are always looking to improve. If you want to pitch in and help with anything, we welcome that too!
