Just a couple of quick reminders. Tomorrow, Thursday, is our monthly SFBA Zoom meeting at 7pm. The link is available in the latest issue of the Spyder Web newsletter or you can reach out to us sfbacorsa@gmail.com and we will send it to you. All upcoming zoom meetings as well as other events are now up for view on our club calendar. Taking your Corvair to an event? Let us know and we will include it in the calendar. The calendar will be updated as we find about new events, so check in often.
Our membership drive has been going great! Our current member roster is up to 81! We want to thank all of our members for their support. We want to thank our subscribers, too. When you share stories or anything we are doing over here, it gives exposure to the club and that is greatly appreciated! Paid member subscriptions keep a little money in the bank and keep this website ad free. We can all use a break from the ads, don’t you agree?
Lastly, if you haven’t yet, join our private SFBA forum on the Corvair Center Forum. The CCF is owned and operated by the Corvair Society of America and has the largest Corvair archive on the internet. When you type a Corvair question into ChatGPT, Google or your LLM of choice, you can guarantee some or all of the information in the reply was scrapped from CCF. One place where it won’t scrape from is the SFBA private forum. A few members are already using it. No spam, no bots, no ads, no nonsense. Just local members and friends talking Corvairs.
