Why the Chevrolet Corvair Was Cancelled

Here is an interesting, informative and mostly accurate video shared by longtime SFBA member Herb Wimmer.

SFBA co-founder and historian Dave Newell gave a fantastic interview to co-founder Tony Richards a few months back on the demise of the Corvair. Watch that one after HERE and compare notes.

I’ve noticed that after I hit the order button for $650 dollars in parts from Clark’s, my car magically starts running better! Anyone else get similar behavior? 🙂

  3. Scott Howey car is in this film!

It would be great if there was a transcript of this interview. It’s the most comprehensive piece I’ve ever read or heard about the reasons behind the end of the Corvair
