Corvair Cockpit Day Sept 7 Oakland Aviation Museum

A friend of mine at the Aviation Museum just inquired me about having the club bring their Corvairs to a cockpit day at the museum on Sunday, Sept 7th.

We will be parking the Corvairs around the aircraft they have outside.

They ask that we be at the museum between 9-9:30. Park around the aircraft in the outside viewing area. The event host would like the cars to be there for the duration of the event, so plan on staying until around 4pm.

There will be outside visitors too, so this will be a great opportunity for us to really show our Corvairs off in a great setting.

Members who bring their Corvairs will pay no entry fee and get one lunch ticket per car regardless how many people are in the car.

We need an RSVP so we know how many cars to expect. Please do so by replying to this post or sending an email to sfbacorsa@gmail.com

We would love to see a big turnout for this FREE event. An especially fun day for members who have children, grandchildren or those who have an interest in aviation.

The museum is located at 8252 Earhart Rd Oakland (by the airport)
