47th Annual Great Western Fan Belt Toss Oct 24-26

We are pleased to announce the 47th annual Great Western Fan Belt Toss and Swap Meet, hosted by Vintage Corsa Corvair Club of Orange County, will be held October 24th – October 26th, 2025.  

Let’s no longer call Corvairs the poor man’s car and put on a show that they deserve!  

This year’s show will have an upgraded venue with our Corvairs displayed on the lawn in front of the picturesque golf course with a beautiful mountain backdrop.  

For the first time ever, the entire event will be hosted in one location, the beautiful resort of The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs.  Yes, you heard that right, the entire event from the Welcome Party, the Car Show and Swap Meet, and the Banquet Dinner all in one beautiful location.  

Start off on Friday with some early bird shopping through the swap meet and a sneak peek at the Corvairs.  

You won’t want to miss the Friday evening CRUISE through downtown Palm Springs that brings you to the catered Welcome Party at the resort. 

After turning in for the night, you can continue to enjoy the beautiful view of the Corvairs with our entire block of 50 rooms having a view of the cars and the golf course.

Saturday will feature the main event with the Swap meet & Car show, raffles, food and drinks, and games including the legendary Fan Belt Toss, with the day ending with a beautiful catered Banquet inside the resort. 

We’re not only upgrading the venue this year, but the event as well.  Get ready for exciting award categories, great raffle prizes, and a weekend full of new and fun activities.  And if you need a little break, you can enjoy the hotel lobby, the swimming pool, or your own hotel room with a view of the car show. 

This year, plan on bringing the whole family to enjoy all the resort has to offer including a full service restaurant, bar, swimming pool, spa, gym and so much more.
