Our next work party for the Dalforno 66 Corsa is scheduled for Sunday, July 20th at Don’s place in Antioch. Time will be from 10am till early afternoon.
For this work party we are continuing to focus on the interior. Don and Johnnie have already installed the headliner. Clark has repaired the driver door cards. Now we are going to focus on the rear package tray, front and rear seats. Once the interior is complete, we will give the car a once over, detailed cleaning and then will be putting the car up for sale. We are motivated to finish this project as Don wants his shop floor back!
SFBA will be providing coffee and donuts. We don’t need a lot of hands for these projects, but if you are interested or want to come out and look at the car, let us know via email or in the comments and we will reach out with directions to Don’s shop.
If you are interested in purchasing the car, the same applies. We haven’t put a formal asking price on the car but will entertain reasonable offers. Purchase will also come with a paid 1 year membership to CORSA and SFBA.
The car is a 1966 Corsa LA built 140 with a center mount 4 barrel carb. Car runs fantastic. Single owner. Purchased new in SLO and spent its entire life in Central and Northern California garaged or under a cover in a carport. Original color was Maderia Maroon. Now it’s more of a fire engine red with the back cove painted matte black. Paint job is driver quality. Not concourse. Has vintage 14″ mags and new tires. Also comes with original 13″ steelies and corsa hubcaps. Original black plates. Clean title and registered non-op. Solid all the way around. No rust, no rot. No damages. All proceeds from the sale will go to SFBA.
We thank the Dalforno family for their years of friendship, membership and this generous donation to the club.
