For Sale: 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside

Hi, I’m selling my 1963 Corvair Rampside project. Pink in hand, registered non-op, ($159. in fees due)

Vehicle Details:

• Body:
  • Both doors included ( ramp, engine and transmission covers, and rear gate)
  • Complete glass in place (not perfect)
  • Original bench seat frame with remains of a recovered seat
  • Body was fully sandblasted by previous owner and now has surface rust
  • Left side has a damaged rail, other typical rust spots.
  • One frame section is rusted – I have the replacement piece for itMany extra parts including grille, and other brightwork
• Engine & Drivetrain:
  • Engine was removed, cleaned, and reinstalled with help from David Gray
  • Dual carbs rebuilt by Raffi
  • New rubber motor mounts and body mounts (all that I could replace)
  • New gas tank with new straps (temporarily installed)
  • New electric fuel pump
  • Replaced harmonic damper
  • 12-fin oil cooler
  • Alternator-equipped model
  • Clutch and pressure plate in good condition
  • Rear seal replaced (to the best of my knowledge)
  • Engine runs and car shifts/drives — I’ve driven it around the farm (without brakes)
• Brakes:
  • Will need a full brake system overhaul: master cylinder, rubber hoses, wheel cylinders, shoes, etc.
• Electrical:
  • Wires currently disconnected from the voltage regulator — needs to be reconnected to startNew Battery

Over $3,500 into this project. Asking $1,500 firm.
