Please welcome new SFBA member Ben Nomura from Marin County to SFBA CORSA. Ben doesn’t currently own a Corvair, but has his sights set on a (preferably) 64 Monza or Spyder hardtop with original paint. If you know of such a car or something close to it for sale, shoot us a message!
We also wanted to thank those of you who have renewed your SFBA dues early for 2026. We will kick off our membership drive next month. Getting everyone paid up at the beginning of the year is a big help with budgeting for the year. If you have your set time you like to pay, that’s fine too. We are happy to have your support! More to come on that in a couple of weeks.
We are open to your feedback and suggestions on how to improve the club. We have received in-person feedback that these newsletters are well received. In fact, we have received feedback from as far away as Australia, Europe and even Japan from people who are subscribers and enjoying the content. We are always looking for more to share, so if you have a Corvair story, photos or anything of interest, please share with all of us by submitting to sfbacorsa@gmail.com.
We are also planning out how to make the website more useful for members to engage with one another. The club approved account upgrade has been made. Now it’s time to start building. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed and will be considered.
In the meantime, Keep your eyes on the road, your hand upon the wheel… and let it roll, baby, roll….
