Corvair Cockpit Day RSVP

Corvair Cockpit Day at the Oakland Aviation Museum is fast approaching! Sunday, Sept 7th.

The event will be from 10am to approximately 4pm. We want to see you and your Corvair at this free event!

The museum will have us staging our cars under some of the aircraft on display on the outdoor field. This is a great opportunity for us to showcase our cars and to introduce people our Corvairs. The museum is expecting around 700 guests for this event.

Condition doesn’t matter here. If you can drive it, bring it!

If you are ok with people sitting in your Corvair, even better!

If you want to attend, we need to get a headcount. This event is free for anyone driving their Corvair. You will also receive a free catered lunch. If you are bringing others (spouse, kids, friends) they will need to pay admission. It’s all on the RSVP form. Even if you cannot attend, please complete the form so we know these announcements are reaching you. It only takes a minute and we would appreciate the feedback. Click here to RSVP.

The museum hosts ask that anyone bringing their Corvair commit to staying for the whole event. So please expect to stay from 10am to approximately 4pm. You can show up earlier to set up if you’d like. They will start letting us in around 9-9:30. You may be able to exit a bit earlier than 4, but plan to stay until then.

This is an invite to anyone that has a Corvair and would like to attend. SFBA members, SFBA friends, Valley Corsa Members, CCRC members & Corvair owners not associated with any clubs. The Mercedes club had a recent day and we would love to smoke those guys with a bigger turnout.

Big thanks to member Lane Davidson for putting this event together. It will be a lot of fun!
